HEIA(Q) is excited to announce our Regional Workshop program for 2024. When planning the program, HEIA(Q) seeks to ensure there are opportunities to tap into the diverse needs and perspectives of our members. Thank you to those who contributed their feedback and suggestions during our PD survey last year, your responses have informed the program.


This year we have three exciting workshops for members and colleagues to engage with.


Workshop 1 – Achievable Assessment: How can we develop engaging and achievable assessment for Years 7 – 10 Design and Technologies Courses

Workshop 2 – Unlock the Flavour: A hands-on workshop to support the delivery of Hospitality Practices Unit B – Bar and Barista Basics

Delivered by Ngaire Mayo


Workshop 3 – Fashionable Representations: A hands-on workshop to support the development of fashion drawing skills.

Delivered by Phoebe Hanau


About the Sessions

There are still a number of regions who have not elected to conduct a workshop. If you would like to host a workshop, please contact heiaq@heia.com.au.


How to Register

Please note that some regions have elected to have both workshops on the same day. For these regions, you may either book to attend just one session or, if you are attending both session, please ensure you select the full day registration link as lunch will be provided for full-day registrations.

Single Workshop (one workshop and light refreshments)

HEIA Member:  $70

Non-Member:   $95


Full-Day Workshops (two workshops, lunch, and refreshments)

HEIA Member:  $140

Non-Member:   $190
